Here are some vital points that will allow us to use our time together in the most efficient and effective manner.

 • Please be prepared for each meeting, providing required documents no less than 3 days PRIOR or at least 30 minutes PRIOR to your scheduled appointment so they can be copied and scanned helps our valuable time together be more productive.  Having all the appropriate documents or information ensures that we fully understand your situation and your resources.

• If you are married, both spouses are required to attend every meeting unless previously arranged with ALISON.

• If you rely on your children or other person to assist you with your decisions, they are required to attend all meetings in person or by telephone.

• Please be on time to all appointments, and if you need to reschedule, please do this no less than 5 business days prior to the scheduled appointment so we may schedule someone else.

• Continual rescheduling or lack of preparation will lead to discontinuation of our relationship.

To customize a plan specifically for you and your financial goals, we rely on you to:

    -Be honest about your situation and concerns.

    -Provide accurate information about all your current resources and accounts.

    -Provide your most recent wills, tax returns, group benefit books, corporate documentation, etc.

    -Let us know of any changes in objectives, risk tolerance, family dynamics and asset acquisition/disposals, etc.

    -Initiate appointments when situations change or a review is desired.

    -Understand that this is a collaborative effort that requires both parties to initiate contact and communicate as needed via phone or email.

    -Refer others you care about that would enjoy the process you experience.

You are welcome to fax, email or upload items into your private "shared documents" folder that only you and we can see, this sits in our Wealth Mangement System that each client receives their own private platform/shelf.  When sending a fax, email or upload, please just send us a note if you would like one of us to either review it, hold it til next meeting or comment on it within the next few buisness days. You can do this by noting : Review/ Hold/ For FIle/Comment asap/etc.

Additionally, in town or out of town clients, we do have an overnight account number for you to use for “dropping off” items or returning items to us when items are required to be originals, otherwise email or upload into your private electronic file with us.

Office hours and Appointment times

Our office is open and staffed from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. CST, Monday through Thursday and 9:00 a.m to 2:00 p.m Fridays; however, All business is conducted by appointment only.  Please call first if you need to come into the office. We periodically close our office for off-site education and holidays.  Alison and Adam have clients throughout the United States and conduct both in person and over the phone appointments.   Remember all "regular appointments" are 90 -120 minutes.  For a quick question, please schedule a 30 minute phone appointment with Alison or Adam.  To be efficient, if you need an appointment or quick call back, indicate the question/need so the right person calls you or emails you back, and please give a few windows when you are available to receive a call back so that we do not play phone tag.   Both the Advisor and Staff book and faciliate appointments, so talking to one of us is like talking to all of us.  It is expected that everyone, us and you, will keep all appointments and call several days in advance if unable to do so.  

 

Tips to Remember for your next appointment 

Whether you're a new or existing client,  please

(1)  bring the items listed in the links below to your next appointment.  Many client prefer to upload them to their private electronic "shared docuemnts" folder in their Wealth Management System or you may overnight them to us, please feel free to request a UPS overnight shipping label from our office.  Having complete and current information is critical to the comprehensiveness and accuracy of any planning endeavor we engage in when we meet; 

(2) Please email us a few days before anything you would like us to specifically cover in our appointment, anything on your mind or any information that may have changed like employment status, obstacles or opportunities infront of you, large anticipated out flows or inflows that were not part of plan, etc; and

(3) If you are using our online wealth organizer,/eclectronic conference room and filing cabinet, please make sure all information and feeds are current 3 days before the appointment.

Make yourself at home

Feel comfortable every time you visit our office. Please let the Office Staff know when you arrive and help yourself to beverages or snacks at the service bar, or use our microwave if you show up hungry. You are welcome to grab lunch or dinner on your way in and eat it during our appointment. Let us know if you’re a coffee or tea drinker, a juice or soda person, and we’ll make every effort to have your preferences available during your appointment.

 

Your Wealth Management Solution

All clients will have a private electronic file/conference room with us, a state of the art online organizer for ALISON's clients, since "getting your arms around everything" is the first step to SIMPLIFYING THE CHAOS. This online tool lets you consolidate all your accounts, policies and legal documents in one secure location, and give us both a way to share "paper" securely and immediately before, during or in between appointments.  Our professional support staff is very proficient with getting clients set up on the system and teaching them how to use it.  

Our Wealth Organizer gives ALISON the ability to create and monitor your financial plan based on current updated information, resulting in more efficient and effective planning. You'll also be able to have integrated reports to see your current financial situation at any time.
